A Day in the snow..

Though it was 80 degrees in Mission Viejo, we decided to venture up to Big Bear Mountain to get a little taste of snow.
Here's a picture of our great sledding hill.
Joseph and I packed two pairs of clothes for the kids, a sweatshirt for each of us, hats, gloves, parkas.. etc, but it was so warm that all we needed were our teeshirts.
We forgot about the nasty effect of sun and snow on skin, so we all came home burnt to a crisp. I have raccoon eyes... everything is red except for two big white patches where my sunglasses were.  Putting makeup on will be really fun tomorrow!
David was very happy to go home!  (Though, he seemed to have a good time!)

Look at me!

David's latest thing is "take a picture of this, Mom"!  So, here are a few of our not-so-spontaneous picture shots.

Every morning, David smothers James with kisses.  James fears for his life, but loves the attention!

Caught!

I spend most of my day in an effort to get Pilot to stop stealing the baby's toys.  This dog is too smart.  He waits until I leave the room and then sneaks off to find them.  When I catch him, all I have to do is look at him, and he gives me this guilty face as if to say, "Add ImageI know I shouldn't have, but I did".  The toy that Pilot covets most is a little red bird that squeaks.  I pulled it out of his mouth atleast 5 times today.  I can't help but laugh when I see this little guilty face.

Ready for Sunday

David decided to hold James this morning, and this is what happened... a "picture perfect" moment.  I hope that they will grow to be good friends.

Our 3-month-old cutie

Well, I am pretty smitten with this little fellow!
He is absolutely adorable in every way!

Dancing Man

Here is David with his two favorite  girlfriends (Monica and Sydney) at our ward party.  I tried uploading actual video, but can't figure it out!  :(      This picture does a fairly good job of showing some of their sweet moves.
